  UAN Announces VA Consolidation

12/06/01

The Federal Labor Relations Authority recently consolidated all UAN bargaining units in the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs into one national council, 6000 RNs strong. The consolidation will provide VA RNs with a powerful vehicle to negotiate a national contract, bargain on national policies and issues affecting VA nurses, and enforce management compliance in the VA nationwide on issues important to RNs.
