The Chief Executive Officer, as the senior staff position for both GNA and GNF, promotes existing GNA and GNF programs, stimulates productive performance and creativity in strategically developing new programs, revenue production and implementing policies as established by the Board(s) of Directors which enhance growth and financial stability.  The CEO complements the efforts of the GNA Board of Directors in fulfilling the Association’s mission and strategic plan and represents the organization on a local, state and national level.. The CEO and the Board of Trustees of the Georgia Nurses Foundation also engage and encourage community support within and beyond the profession of nursing.

GNA Chief Programs Officer: Debbie Hatmaker -        Tel.(404) 325-5536 ext. 107

The Chief Programs Officer has administrative and managerial responsibilities for GNA’s programmatic efforts which include the Southern Performance Assessment Center, Continuing Education program, Legislative, Workforce and Practice Committees, and gives RN representation to a number of outside groups.

GNA/GNF Director of Marketing and Communications: Jeremy Arieh -      Tel.(404) 325-5536  Ext. 109

The President is the "official spokesperson" for the organization. The Director of Marketing and Communications reports directly to the CEO supporting the President's interaction with the media and is responsible for managing and ensuring effective media relations, media releases and media contact lists; initiates internal and external communication plans for GNA & GNF; maintains brand identity for the organization; assists functional organizational units in their public awareness efforts; and works in partnership with the Director of Member Services & Events to positively impact the growth of state wide membership.  This position is specifically responsible for the quarterly newsletter and electronic publications, website content and other communication mediums through which the association reaches their membership and the community.

GNA/GNF Director of Member Services & Events: Wendy McGar -    Tel.(404) 325-5536 Ext. 108

The Director of Member Services & Events reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for the delivery of membership services; the development and management of the membership database; organizes and supports the governance committee & task force structures for GNA/GNF; plans, organizes and coordinates all events & all event registration systems, business meetings, and headquarters building management; works in partnership with the Director of Marketing & Communications to positively impact the growth of state wide membership; contributes to web site and newsletter content;  This position assists the CEO with the coordination of administrative staff resource allocation.

The Staff Accountant holds a position designated to provide support to the Chief Executive Officer and Finance Committee by maintaining a system for safeguarding, recording and reporting finances and assets.  The position requires a review of background and bonding.

Program Support Assistant (GNA/GNF/CE): Teiah Smith-Pipkin   Tel (404) 325-5536 ext. 103

The Program Support Assistant holds an administrative position designed to assist the CPO with CE and The Southern Performance Assessment Center educational activities of the association.

Executive Assistant/Logistics Specialist: Courtney Lenharr -      Tel.(404) 325-5536 ext. 113

The Executive Assistant works under the direction of the CEO to carry out those assignments related to the overall operation of GNA/GNF.  She relieves the CEO of routine administration details and performs complex, logistical, technical and accountability work.

Administrative Assistant (SPAC & CE): Stephanie Scott -       Tel.(404) 325-5536 ext. 101

The Administrative Assistant for SPAC and CE performs secretarial and office support functions including data management activities for Southern Performance Assessment Center (SPAC) programs.  She communicates with GNA staff, Excelsior College faculty, staff, and students.

Administrative Assistant (GNA/GNF): Connie Clark -       Tel.(404) 325-5536 ext. 100

Performs secretarial and general office functions in a designated area of assignment.  Provides support to GNA’s professional staff and members.
